Senior Visual Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Visual Designer to join our in-house design team at CMC Markets. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on exciting digital and print-based projects, utilizing their expertise in user experience, graphic, print, user interface, and interaction design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cover all areas of design, including user experience, graphic, print, user interface, and interaction design.
  • Assist with the seamless rollout of new campaign creative, web, email, social media, print, working autonomously and taking ownership and responsibility for every last detail.
  • Be an expert in wire-framing UI, rapid prototyping, and creating pixel-perfect visual designs.
  • Communicate status clearly, both written and verbal, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders as necessary to ensure the solution meets their needs.
  • A passionate designer with a proven track record designing the very best, compelling user experiences with a strong understanding of user behaviors.
  • Excellent communicator, skilled in explaining and defending your work when required; showing confidence in your own abilities and ideas.
  • Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch.
  • A conceptual thinker with an aptitude for learning and sharing new skills.
  • A solid understanding and experience of working to brand guidelines.
  • Technical understanding of the web, emails restrictions/possibilities they offer.
  • Meticulous and good attention to detail.
  • Fast and reliable with high standards.
  • Good communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven; able to act on own initiative.
  • Solid multi-tasking and organization skills.
  • Evidence of your work that demonstrates excellent UI and visual design skills for web, emails, and print-based designs.

Nice to Have:

  • AfterEffect or/and experience with animation for web/emails.
  • Native app design understanding.
