Job Title: Educational Health Care Assistants

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Health Care Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to pupils with a wide range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) in our specialist provision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualized care and support to pupils with complex medical needs, physical disabilities, and learning difficulties.
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
  • Supporting pupils with challenging behavior, using de-escalation techniques and positive behavior management strategies.
  • Collaborating with the teaching team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Maintaining accurate records of pupil progress and care plans.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a care or support role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence in de-escalating challenging behavior.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
