Position Overview

We are looking for a talented Field Service Technician to become part of our team at Selwood. The main duties involve conducting maintenance on diesel engines and pumps at client locations as well as in our service center. The role includes participation in on-call schedules with standby compensation and attractive overtime remuneration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Engage in clear communication with team members and clients.
  • Secure necessary approvals and documentation for task execution.
  • Keep workspaces and vehicles tidy and well-organized.
  • Fill out daily vehicle inspection reports to ensure safety standards.
  • Complete assigned tasks promptly and efficiently.
  • Follow company policies and operational procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

We are interested in candidates who are eager to learn and possess a background in mechanical engineering or engine maintenance. Experience in a workshop or industrial environment is advantageous, along with the capability to diagnose and resolve technical issues. Candidates should hold an NVQ in plant maintenance or a related qualification and possess a valid UK driving license.
