Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and qualified English Teacher to join our team at a highly successful mixed school in Colchester. The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach at KS3 & KS4 and possess a formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE).

The school boasts excellent transport links, a well-resourced department, and an approachable and supportive head of department. Our client is looking for a dedicated English Teacher who can contribute to the academic excellence of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach English at KS3 & KS4 levels
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Valid QTS (i.e. PGCE) and formal teaching qualification
  • Ability to teach English at KS3 & KS4 levels
  • Legal ability to work within the UK
