About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branding Designer to join our team at Jumbodiset Group. As a Branding Designer, you will play a crucial role in providing design solutions for various clothing product types, including printed graphics and other applications/embellishments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Design Team to develop design solutions that meet customer requirements and deadlines.
  • Design packaging, trims, and effects that align with customer and licensor requirements.
  • Create presentation sheets for sales and marketing purposes, including brochure artwork and pages.
  • Respond promptly to customer design requirements and make necessary design amendments.
  • Originate accurate artwork for prints, embroideries, packaging, branding tools, and other effects.
  • Maintain a commercial awareness of garment costs and provide design solutions that balance creativity with budget constraints.
  • Liaise with the Account Manager and factories/suppliers to ensure artwork is well-received and interpreted correctly.
  • Organize garment designs into the necessary format for approval and liaison with the licensor.
  • Review, analyze, and comment on strike-offs of prints, embroideries, and other effects in conjunction with the Product Developer.
  • Maintain awareness of current and forecasted fashion and clothing trends and apply this to design solutions.
  • Represent the company in a professional and competent manner at all times.
  • Carry out all duties within the necessary time frame and constraints of the critical path.

Requirements:

  • Creative flair and experience in designing commercial clothing ranges.
  • Sound understanding of clothing construction and garment applications/embellishments, including print, embroidery, appliqué, etc.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • CAD Skills, proficiency in using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Effective time management and ability to provide effective design solutions to tight deadlines.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to organise workload according to priority.
  • Ability to work flexibly within a team.
  • Good communication skills with customers, suppliers, and the rest of the team.
  • Proficiency in using computers/technology, MS Office, email, etc.
