We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Scunthorpe. As a vital member of the store management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the store, including recruitment, stock control, and customer service.

About the Position

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will report directly to the Store Manager and take on full responsibility for the store when they are absent. You will lead by example, motivating your team to deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales growth. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team">
  • Managing stock levels, inventory, and supplies to ensure maximum efficiency">
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service and store presentation">
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations">

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in a supervisory or management role within the retail sector">
  • Flexible availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills">
  • A passion for delivering high standards and achieving results">
