Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator to join our team in Eastbourne.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our drop-in groups, which take place every 4th Tuesday of the month from 10:30-12:30. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others and want to make a difference in their community.

Aphasia is a lifelong condition that affects over 350,000 people in the UK, causing difficulties with language and communication. Our charity provides support groups across the country to help individuals affected by aphasia adapt to their new way of life and regain independence and confidence.

As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will play a vital role in facilitating communication between group members, organizing activities, and assisting with refreshments. You will also have the opportunity to learn about aphasia and its effects on individuals and their families.
