About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Horizon Care and Education. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting unaccompanied asylum-seeking children and care leavers to live independently.

You will work closely with young people to develop their skills and confidence, enabling them to achieve their goals and reach their full potential. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.

As a member of our team, you will receive comprehensive training and support to ensure your success in this rewarding role.

Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to young people
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to meet individual needs
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure seamless support
  • Assist with daily living tasks and activities

To be successful in this role, you will require:

Requirements
  • A Full UK driving licence
  • Experience working with young people or vulnerable adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing situations
