Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Dietetic Assistant to join our team at the NHS. As a Dietetic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery and development of dietetics within the team.

Main Responsibilities
  • To support the dietitian in delivering high-quality patient care and developing dietetics within the team.
  • To complete monthly audits for weight patterns and food and fluid intake, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting.
  • To hand over all interactions with patients to the dietitian and write comprehensive reports in care notes.

As a Dietetic Assistant, you will have a flexible approach to work and a keen willingness to learn. You will be working closely with the dietitian to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements
  • A highly flexible approach to work with a range of eating disorder presentations.
  • Mature and caring attitude, rather than academic qualifications.
  • Evidence of work experience or voluntary work in a related area can be beneficial.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
