Electrical Distribution System Contract Engineering Lead

Join Framatome, a leading international player in the nuclear energy market, as we seek a skilled Electrical Distribution System Contract Engineering Lead to support the development of the electrical discipline within our EPR-E UK team.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Act as the primary point of contact for the client organization regarding all matters related to the low voltage switchboard contract, providing technical support and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  2. Ensure the technical management of the supplier, collaborating with the client to ensure compliance with the contract schedule, costs, and scope of supply and studies.
  3. Review and coordinate the documentation review of various contributors, ensuring adherence to technical referential and quality standards.
  4. Coordinate the work of technical leads, system engineers, and dedicated experts to ensure timely completion of document/topics.
  5. Manage contract modifications, informing the supplier via Contract Transfer Sheets and coordinating with the client through dedicated tools.
  6. Serve as the primary point of contact for all modifications, impact assessments, and technical issues or non-conformities arising from site activities.
  7. Ensure the management of risks, opportunities, open points, and modifications of the contract with the client.
  8. Interface with Edvance disciplines involved in providing input data relevant for the low voltage switchboard contract.
  9. Interface with Edvance disciplines using the low voltage switchboard contract's detailed design as inputs.
Requirements
  1. Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  2. Experience in work related to electrical distribution components and technical documentation review.
  3. Ability to effectively manage own workload to produce high-quality documents and meet deadlines.
  4. Ability to communicate clearly and accurately, both written and orally, in English.
  5. Proactive and confident in communicating with others, particularly those based in remote offices.
  6. Proactive in developing positive working relations with others within the project.
  7. Continuously seeking opportunities to improve the quality of engineering studies and subsequent documentation produced.
Desirable Qualifications, Experience and Skills
  1. Relevant experience in the nuclear industry.
  2. Knowledge of EPR electrical distribution design principles, Instrumentation and Control architecture, and Safety Classification.
  3. Knowledge of the RCC-E electrical technical regulations and the technical reference system (NFC15-100 / NF C 13-200 / BS7671 / IEC 60909).
  4. Experience of working on an operating plant or on an industrial site.
