Electrical Distribution System Contract Engineering Lead

Join Framatome, a global leader in nuclear energy, as we seek a skilled Electrical Distribution System Contract Engineering Lead to support the development of electrical discipline within our EPR-E UK team.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Act as the primary point of contact for client organizations regarding low voltage switchboard contracts, providing technical support and resolving issues.
  2. Ensure effective technical management of suppliers, collaborating with clients to address contractual matters during the contract execution phase.
  3. Review supplier documents in accordance with technical referential, ensuring timely and high-quality documentation review.
  4. Coordinate the work of technical leads, system engineers, and experts to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  5. Manage contract modifications, informing suppliers through Contract Transfer Sheets and coordinating with clients.
  6. Assess and address technical issues, non-conformities, and modifications arising from site activities.
  7. Oversee risk management, opportunities, open points, and contract modifications with clients.
  8. Facilitate interfaces with Edvance disciplines, providing input data for low voltage switchboard contracts.
  9. Manage interfaces with Edvance disciplines using low voltage switchboard contracts as inputs.
Requirements
  1. Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  2. Experience in electrical distribution components and technical documentation review.
  3. Ability to manage workload effectively, producing high-quality documents and meeting deadlines.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in English.
  5. Proactive and confident in communicating with colleagues, particularly those based in remote offices.
  6. Proactive in developing positive working relationships within the project.
  7. Continuous improvement of engineering studies and documentation quality.
Desirable Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
  1. Relevant experience in the nuclear industry.
  2. Knowledge of EPR electrical distribution design principles, Instrumentation and Control architecture, and Safety Classification.
  3. Knowledge of RCC-E electrical technical regulations and technical reference systems.
  4. Experience working on operating plants or industrial sites.
