About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Plant Operations Engineer to join our team at Omnikote. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of our equipment and machinery.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical control systems, single and three-phase power circuits, and be able to design effective maintenance strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing routine maintenance procedures to minimize equipment downtime.
- Analyzing and diagnosing breakdown problems to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Ensuring vital spares are stocked and readily available to prevent delays.
- Controlling maintenance tools, stores, and equipment to optimize resource utilization.
- Responding to emergencies and unplanned problems, working outside regular hours if necessary.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electrical control systems and single/three-phase power circuits.
- Ability to design effective maintenance strategies and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is around £45,000-£55,000 per year, based on experience.
