Job Description

Omnikote Limited is seeking a skilled and organised Maintenance Engineer to ensure the continuous operation of our equipment and machinery.

You will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance work, responding to equipment faults, and diagnosing breakdown problems.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of electrical control systems, including single and three-phase power circuits.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement effective maintenance strategies and procedures
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and respond to equipment faults in a timely manner
  • Diagnose and repair breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime
  • Manage vital spare parts inventory and maintain efficient tool storage and equipment management
  • Work with specialist equipment, such as ovens, spray equipment, and pretreatment plant
  • Conduct risk assessments and write permits to work as required

In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our coating process. You will improve production efficiency, reduce costly breakdowns, and develop strategies to enhance overall plant and production processes reliability.
