Clockwork Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced One to One SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in County Durham. The successful candidate will work closely with a Key Stage 2 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) who requires full-time support.
Responsibilities:- Work one-to-one with the SEND pupil in a Key Stage 2 setting, providing tailored support and guidance.
- Record and maintain accurate evidence of the pupil's progress, sharing feedback with the teacher and parents.
- Utilize initiative and adaptability to adjust activity plans as needed, ensuring the pupil's needs are met.
- Previous experience working with challenging SEND individuals, with positive handling training a plus.
- Ability to provide two educational-based references.
- Confidence and experience in lone working.
- Excellent numeracy and literacy knowledge.
- Good behaviour management skills.
- Competitive pay rates.
