About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at Halfords, the UK's leading retailer of motoring and cycling products and services. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in driving business performance and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the Centre Manager to provide productive management and leadership, driving profitability and focusing on the customer journey.
  • Divide your time between the workshop, working alongside technicians, and assisting the Centre Manager with daily sales and customer service.
  • Help drive business performance, passionate about customer experience, and looking for a long-term career with excellent progression and training schemes.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £26,175 to £31,065 per annum.
  • An average uncapped bonus of £7,100 per year, with potential to earn more.
  • 5 days a week.

Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role, with a strong background in customer service and sales.
  • Technical/mechanical ability or experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
  • IT proficient, with the willingness to learn in-house systems.
  • A current valid driving licence.
