About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Finance to join our team at Morgan Law. As a key member of our Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading our Finance Team and providing strategic financial guidance to the organization.

As Head of Finance, you will be responsible for building on the strong foundations already embedded in the finance function, maintaining strong financial controls, embracing new technologies, and providing the best possible management information to the wider organization as our income grows.

You will work closely with the Director of Finance and IT to lead on financial controls, business partnering, forecasting, and ensuring that all financial information is presented in a useful and timely manner. You will also manage a small team.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a qualified accountant with substantial financial and management accounting experience. You will also need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrable experience of leading and engaging with finance and other corporate functions to develop a mature and rounded service.

You will need to have an excellent understanding of financial and management accounting processes, financial reporting, and audit planning, as well as being adept at managing both your own and your team's priorities.

You will be a strong leader able to communicate well with your peers and team members and have resilience to adapt quickly to changing priorities and demands from internal and external stakeholders.

You will enjoy using technology to make processes simpler and more efficient.
