About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Domestic Support Specialist to join our team at Manor Grange Care Home. As a key member of our care home community, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining Cleanliness and Hygiene: Provide thorough domestic cleaning services within the care home, adhering to company policies and best practices.
  • Sanitary Maintenance and Waste Management: Clean and replenish sanitary fixtures and fittings, ensuring they are hygienic and well-stocked, and remove refuse regularly and dispose of it properly.
  • Floor Care and Furniture Maintenance: Clean and protect a variety of floor surfaces, including carpets and hard floors, and clean and maintain furniture, furnishings, fixtures, and fittings to a high standard.
  • Laundry Services and Resident Support: Manage laundry effectively, ensuring it meets guidance and expectations, and safely handle and label personal belongings, while also assisting with the daily well-being of residents.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Follow health and safety protocols, infection prevention, and fire safety regulations within the laundry and wider care environment.
