Join a well-established environmental services company with a busy 24/7 processing facility in Wigan. We are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer with relevant experience to work both day and night shifts.

Package Details:
  • Competitive salary of £40,000
  • 4 on days - 4 off - 4 on nights - 4 off rotating shift pattern

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure plant efficiency
  • Examine and diagnose faults on plant and equipment
  • Perform equipment servicing and replacement activities on the waste plastic sorting site
  • Ensure health and safety compliance and contribute to continuous improvement in operations
  • Provide high operational availability and efficient breakdown repair service
  • Diagnose and repair faults, ensuring effective repairs and improvements are conducted within a minimum timeframe
Requirements:
  • Engineering qualifications NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Experience with PC-based PPM systems is desirable
  • Minimum GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Experience with lifting, slinging, and mechanical lifting aids
