Job Description
- To provide medical support and expertise to nursing staff and other clinicians, ensuring safe and effective care for patients.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams, attending board rounds, ward rounds, and other daily activities to contribute to the smooth operation of the hospital.
- Supervise junior staff members as required, promoting a culture of professionalism and excellence within the team.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to trust policies and procedures.
- Be available for work from the arranged start time, attending local inductions when necessary and complying with trust values and behaviours.
Person Specification
- Essential: 6-12 months' experience in a UK hospital, competencies signed off at FY1 and FY2 levels.
- Desirable: ability to develop and maintain a subspecialty interest.
Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent qualification from a recognized Medical School.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council.
- Designation of Responsible Office listed as NHS on GMC.
