About the RoleThis exciting opportunity allows you to work on engaging projects across the UK, handling each stage from conception and bid proposals to client liaison and document preparation. As an Ecology Project Coordinator, you'll be responsible for staff training and development, technical expertise, and project management. Your duties will encompass:
- Guiding and mentoring younger team members in ecology principles and best practices.
- Providing technical knowledge and expertise when required, including BNG assessments, EcIAs, EIA sections, method statements, mitigation strategies, and management plans.
We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of planning policy and legislation, as well as surveying skills such as UKHabs, botanical surveys, or protected species surveys. You should also hold a full UK driving license and be within travelling distance of our Manchester office.
The estimated salary for this role is £35,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
