We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Daventry. As a key member of our Supplier Quality business unit, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality management and develop the skills needed to excel in the industry.

This role is ideal for students who are looking to gain practical experience and make a meaningful contribution to our team. You will be responsible for supporting our Power Systems VPI programs, maintaining and tracking quality systems, and collaborating with suppliers to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of quality management systems
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on quality metrics and supplier performance
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve processes
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency
  • Contribute to the development of training programs and materials for quality-related topics

Requirements:

  • Working towards a degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
