Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Internal Sales Advisor. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining new sales, targeting new customers, and collaborating closely with our warehouse team to ensure timely delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain new sales to drive business growth and profitability
- Proactively target new customers to expand our customer base
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products
- Regularly engage with our external sales force and credit control teams to follow up on sales quotes and leads
- Record activity and utilize internal systems accurately
- Input orders onto our system and maintain sales records
- Assist with deliveries, unloading, and loading of vehicles at the branch as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a sales-focused role
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Strong customer service experience
- IT literacy
- Experience within the roofing or construction industry is desirable
- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the day-to-day running of the branch
- Good knowledge of safe working practices
- Valid Forklift Truck Licence or willingness to undertake Forklift Truck Training
