Job Description: Paediatric Dietitian Position

We are looking for a dedicated Paediatric Dietitian to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. This fixed-term 12-month maternity cover role offers a chance to gain experience in paediatric dietetics, working with children and families, providing expert nutrition advice and support.

About the Department

The Paediatric Dietetics department is a large and friendly team, comprising dietitians, dietetic support workers, special feed unit staff, and administration staff. We provide a comprehensive hospital service, including relevant education and/or training to all healthcare professionals, carers, and other workers involved in child care.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement individualised nutrition plans for children with complex needs.
  2. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  3. Contribute to the development of new services and projects, ensuring alignment with Trust objectives.
Requirements
  • BSc (Hons) in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent qualification.
  • Mandatory completion of Module 1 and 2 Paediatric course or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a salary range of £40,506 - £58,985 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as pension scheme, annual leave, and access to training and development opportunities.
