About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Security Officer to join our team at Abm. As a Security Officer, you will be the public face of our Security Team and site estate management, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and security of our customers and staff.
Main Responsibilities
- Protect life, property, and premises from harm, preventing loss and waste, and deterring crime.
- Assist Centre Management in complying with security-related disciplines and procedures.
- Be vigilant regarding Health & Safety practices and report any known breaches to Centre Management.
- Provide a first point of contact for customers and visitors, delivering a polite and professional service.
- Act as an ambassador for the site, delivering first-class visitor-focused service.
- Work as a team player to meet visitor needs and contribute to the efforts of all departments.
- Continuously look for opportunities to assist visitors, proactively helping wherever possible.
Requirements
- SIA Door Supervisor licence (desirable) - willing to obtain prior to employment.
- SIA CCTV licence (desirable) - capable of completing course and passing exam.
- Previous experience in a customer-focused or facing role.
