Health Care Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Health Care Assistant to provide high-quality clinical services to our patients at Wellside Surgery.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver phlebotomy services to patients
- Conduct new patient registration checks and routine blood pressure measurements
- Assist with spirometry, ECG, and Doppler tests
- Perform weight checks, urinalysis, and simple dressings
- Contribute to research studies as required
Administrative and Housekeeping Duties
- Maintain accurate patient records and results books
- Prepare samples for collection and stock ordering
- Ensure consulting and treatment rooms are adequately stocked
- Prepare and download 24-hour BP and ECG data

Essential Skills and Attributes
- IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Time management and flexibility
- Reliability, enthusiasm, and self-motivation
Desirable Skills and Attributes
- Experience with EMIS clinical system
Experience and Qualifications
Essential
- Phlebotomy experience

- Previous general practice experience
