About the Role:

Landscape Services is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to lead tasks such as grass cutting, border works, pruning, sports field marking, and other general landscaping duties.

The ideal candidate should have demonstrable experience in Grounds Maintenance and be based in a commutable location to Broadstairs.

A current, clean driving license and a full DBS check (provided by the Company) are required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the team are able to complete work in line with the contract specification and show an excellent level of customer service, keeping customers informed throughout the process
  • Planning, organising and supervising staff
  • Ensuring equipment is safe and correct for use by carrying out inspections
  • Planning, identifying and ordering materials and ensuring chemical usage complies with current legislation
  • Ensuring safe working practices are always maintained, identifying risks and unsafe practices in order to minimise potential for injury or accident.
