The Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our service, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions to patients referred to our service.
Main Duties of the JobThe post holder will provide high-quality CBT and other evidence-based therapies to service users in one-to-one and group settings. You will be expected to manage a clinical caseload, prioritize work within agreed service criteria, and liaise with other professionals as necessary.
You will also be responsible for undertaking clinical supervision to ensure safe therapeutic practice and completing all documentation as required by the service.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver CBT and other evidence-based therapies to service users in one-to-one and group settings
- Manage a clinical caseload and prioritize work within agreed service criteria
- Liaise with other professionals as necessary
- Undertake clinical supervision to ensure safe therapeutic practice
- Complete all documentation as required by the service
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who possesses a Post Graduate CBT diploma or IAPT High Intensity qualification. You will have significant experience working as a psychological therapy practitioner and demonstrating the competences to deliver evidence-based CBT to clients with common mental health disorders.
You will also have a good understanding of common mental health conditions as defined by IAPT, knowledge of delivering CBT to clients who are referred into the service with common mental health conditions, and a knowledge of the issues surrounding employment and the impact it can have on mental health.
Desirable Criteria- Previous experience of working within an IAPT service
- Experience of delivering CBT within a group setting
- Experience of delivering supervision
You will have a good understanding of common mental health conditions as defined by IAPT, knowledge of delivering CBT to clients who are referred into the service with common mental health conditions, and a knowledge of the issues surrounding employment and the impact it can have on mental health.
You will also have highly developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, complex, highly technical and/or clinically sensitive information to clients, their families, carers and other professional colleagues both within and outside the NHS.
