About the Role

Zodiac Maritime, a leading international ship operating company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Dry Docking Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our technical department, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our dry docking program.

Key Responsibilities
  • New Build Programme
    • Lead the execution of new-build projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
    • Collaborate with shipyards, classification societies, and other stakeholders to optimize new-build specifications and designs.
  • Drydock and Maintenance Programme
    • Develop and implement drydock specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor drydock timelines and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
    • Optimize drydock planning and budgeting to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Cost Management
    • Negotiate with shipyards to secure optimal pricing and terms for drydock services.
  • Optimize Fleet Performance
    • Provide expert support to fleet technical teams to identify and address performance issues.
  • Programme Management
    • Develop and implement a programme management framework to track progress and measure success.
  • Communication
    • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including shipyards, classification societies, and regulatory bodies.
  • Technology
    • Assess and implement new software and technologies to enhance dry docking processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in ship management, with a strong background in dry docking and new-build projects.
  • Proven track record of leading successful dry docking projects and optimizing fleet performance.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address performance issues.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and data software packages.
