About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Test Technician in our Rowfant laboratory. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for conducting tests and calibrations in accordance with relevant standards and procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality control work in the laboratory on new deliveries of bitumen and blended batches
  • Maintain all laboratory records for work undertaken
  • Assist with quality procedures and other projects as required
  • Plan and carry out testing and equipment calibrations in accordance with relevant standards and/or procedures
  • Assist with the evaluation of the results of tests and calibrations, reporting opinions and interpretations
  • Perform sampling on various sites
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor's degree in a science-related field and some laboratory experience. However, we are willing to invest in the training and development of applicants with a degree or similar level of education in any discipline and with no previous experience.
