We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Junior Sister to join our dynamic team at the Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS. As a Junior Sister, you will play a vital role in the delivery of high-quality nursing care to our patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessments, care planning, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of patients.
  • Participate in clinical decision-making and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice.
  • Support the training and development of junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and comprehensive patient records, ensuring that all relevant information is up-to-date and easily accessible.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse qualification and current registration with the NMC.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a healthcare setting, with a strong background in adult nursing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nursing practice.
