Hybrid Payroll Officer Opportunity

Your new company is a public sector organisation seeking a Payroll Officer on a permanent basis with a salary up to £37,000. They are looking to add to their HR team where you'll be joining them in an office based near Maidstone working on a hybrid model.

Your New Role
  1. Manage end-to-end payroll on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  2. Complete payroll input, including processing salary sacrifice schemes and pension contributions.
  3. Prepare and reconcile monthly reports, including finance reports, pension reports, and HMRC reports.
  4. Upload BACs files for monthly payments and post costs to the accounting system.
  5. Calculate parental leave schedules and ensure compliance with up-to-date HMRC rates.
  6. Maintain information records for statutory returns and stay up-to-date with tax and NI threshold changes.
  7. Administer applications to the Pension Schemes and ensure seamless processing.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need at least broad experience working within the payroll function, with good knowledge of pension processes, salary sacrifice schemes, and payroll software.
