Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Compensation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide support to the Reward function, with a focus on Entain's Remuneration Committee and other regulatory filing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor and in-house expert on executive reward and governance matters.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues in other teams, including Company Secretariat, Investor Relations, Tax, and Finance.
  • Draft the Directors' Remuneration Report and liaise with external advisors to ensure compliance and improvement.
  • Collate data for the DRR and other regulatory filing requirements, and obtain auditor sign-off.
  • Work with the Head of Reward to establish processes for data collation and liaise with external advisors.
  • Lead compensation deliverables and support projects, including RFPs for various platforms.
  • Support annual pay review discussions and consider market competitiveness and internal pay equity.
  • Design and deliver training on executive reward topics.
  • Ensure understanding and interpretation of mandatory local compensation requirements.
  • Create clear and effective communications.
  • Stay up-to-date with legislative changes and external market trends.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the UK corporate governance environment, investor body guidelines, and Corporate Governance Code.
  • Experience in drafting RemCo papers and DRR experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to think outside the box.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relationship building skills and ability to navigate a global, matrix organization.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and process-oriented skills.
