We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Conference and Event Specialist. As a key member of our Posture and Mobility Group UK, you will play a vital role in delivering our annual conference, which provides an educational programme, industry exhibition, and networking events for professionals working in the field of posture and wheeled mobility.
Key Responsibilities- Support the delivery of an innovative 'post Covid-19' and beyond plan to provide quality service user-focused outcomes for adults and children with complex mobility, posture, and pressure needs.
- Use advanced clinical skills to assess adults and children, and provide complex wheelchairs with associated posture management and pressure management accessories.
- Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff to ensure the quality of a clinical service, working in partnership with local voluntary sector and statutory services.
- Drive the quality of frontline services to our service users, ensuring we deliver our vision of a "Chair in a Day".
- Current HCPC registration as an occupational therapist/physiotherapist.
- Previous experience of working with patients with long-term or deteriorating medical conditions.
- Experience of staff supervision and leadership.
- Current full UK driving licence is essential.
- Full induction and training.
- Continuing professional development opportunities.
