Childcare Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and caring individual to join our team as a Childcare Support Specialist at our nursery in Glasgow.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children, ensuring their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development. This is an ideal opportunity for those passionate about childcare and committed to making a positive impact on young lives.
Responsibilities- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, tailored to their age and stage of development.
- Enhance the daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
- Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent, and visitor at all times.
- Work collaboratively within a team to support all children and colleagues in your room.
- Understand and ensure that the requirements of the curriculum are being met.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A strong passion for childcare and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
- Experience of caring for young children, preferably in a nursery setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of childcare legislation and guidelines.
We offer a competitive salary package, including:
- An estimated annual salary of £18,000 - £20,000, depending on experience.
- 30 days' annual leave, inclusive of Bank Holidays and Christmas closure.
