An exciting opportunity has arisen at Wayman Learning Trust for a dedicated and passionate "Religious Education Specialist" to join our team. We are seeking an experienced and inspirational teacher to lead and contribute to the delivery of outstanding Religious Education to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position, ideal for an RE teacher who is able to make a significant impact on the learning and development of our students. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and planning high-quality RE lessons, contributing to the development of the department, and working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the success of all students.

Responsibilities
  • Teach and plan high-quality RE lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 students
  • Contribute to the development of the RE department and curriculum
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the success of all students
  • Participate in departmental and whole-school initiatives to promote excellence and innovation in teaching and learning
Requirements
  • RE-related degree
  • QTS or PGCE
  • Experience of teaching RE to GCSE level
