Job Title: Clinical Vascular Scientist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Vascular Scientist to join our team at London North West Healthcare NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical expertise and leadership in the field of vascular science.
Main Responsibilities:
The Clinical Vascular Scientist will be responsible for:
- Providing clinical expertise and leadership in the field of vascular science
- Supervising junior physiotherapy staff
- Teaching students and peers
- Participating in audit and research processes
Essential Criteria:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 4 years relevant clinical experience
- 2 years of experience at Band 6 level in respiratory, covering colorectal surgery, chronic disease management and ITU
- Experience of supervising junior staff
- Experience of teaching and training
- Experience of audit and research processes
Desirable Criteria:
The ideal candidate will also have:
- Previous prehabilitation experience
- Previous experience at Band 7 level
- Previous management of patients following colorectal surgery
Skills:
The successful candidate will possess:
- Competent IT skills
- Ability to organise, prioritise and delegate
- Ability to appraise and develop team members
- Excellent communication skills
