About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Scientist to join our esteemed team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our Vascular Ultrasound Service, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional diagnostic care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical diagnostic vascular ultrasound expertise to the Vascular Ultrasound Service.
  • Deliver a comprehensive Trust-wide vascular diagnostic ultrasound service to referring medical and surgical consultants.
  • Contribute to vascular research and participate in teaching activities.
Requirements
  • Degree in a related Science.
  • AVS accreditation.
  • SVT membership.
  • Scanning skills in clinical measurements and clinical trials.
Desirable Criteria
  • MSc in Vascular Ultrasound.
  • Postgraduate diploma in Vascular Ultrasound.
  • Experience as a vascular scientist.
  • Research publications.
  • Training and supervision of junior clinicians.
  • Management of administration staff.
