About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Ultrasound Expert to join our renowned Vascular Laboratory at Barts Health NHS Trust. This is a full or part-time position offering a dynamic role for an accredited Vascular Scientist, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional diagnostic care to patients through the provision of clinical diagnostic vascular ultrasound expertise.
  • Contribute to vascular research and participate in teaching activities.
  • Collaborate with consultant vascular surgeons, nurse specialists, and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of vascular ultrasound services.
Requirements
  • Degree in a related Science.
  • AVS accreditation.
  • SVT membership.
  • Scanning skills in clinical measurements and clinical trials.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • MSc in Vascular Ultrasound.
  • Post graduate diploma in Vascular Ultrasound.
  • Experience as a vascular scientist.
  • Research publications.
  • Training and supervision of junior clinicians.
  • Management of administration staff.
