Job Title: Assistant Buyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team at CV-Library. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in the housebuilding industry or be looking to progress their career.

This role is focused on ordering and procurement of materials for regional projects, supporting the buying team, and reporting directly to the Commercial department manager. The primary objective is to ensure timely and cost-effective supply of materials to meet project deadlines within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support procurement and scheduling of materials to adhere to Group Procurement Procedures and quality assurance requirements, ensuring cost control and on-time project completion.
  2. Liaise with suppliers to secure cost-effective material supplies for projects and contracts.
  3. Assist in producing accurate valuation reports and management information to inform business decisions within the Commercial management team.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to achieve operational targets.
  5. Adhere to the Group Health, Safety and Environment Policy, maintaining health and safety standards.

A recent procurement graduate or 1-2 years' experience would be advantageous.

Salary: £30,000 + package.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £30,000 per annum, making it an attractive opportunity for those looking to advance their careers in purchasing and procurement.
