Compassionate Care Leader

The Willing Care team is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our client's team. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents while advancing your career in the care sector.
**Job Overview**
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Healthcare Assistant to provide personalized care to our clients' residents during day shifts. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the well-being of the team, contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans, and create a warm and inclusive environment for both residents and colleagues.
**Key Responsibilities**
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
• Administering medication according to individual care plans
• Supporting residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met
• Monitoring residents' health and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of care provided
• Leading and supporting junior care staff in day-to-day tasks
• Participating in regular staff meetings and training sessions
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
We are looking for someone with:
• Level 2 in Health and Social Care or above
• Proven experience in a Senior Healthcare Assistant role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
• Strong attention to detail and a dedication to providing person-centered care
• Understanding of and commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplace
**Benefits**
This role offers a competitive hourly wage of £12.50, full-time stable hours with 42 hours per week, recognition awards, regular staff incentives, overtime rates, employee assistance programme, pension scheme, wellbeing support, and more.
**Estimated Salary: £25,600 - £27,200 per annum based on 42 hours per week.
