As an Employability and Business Administration Trainer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality training programs and supporting the development of our learners.

About the Role

  • Plan, develop, deliver, assess, and evaluate high-quality training programs to meet the needs of our learners and stakeholders.
  • Deliver training and assess learners as part of their qualification to ensure a successful outcome in line with contractual requirements and targets.
  • Set, assess, and record learners' work, including practical assessments, assignments, examinations, and coursework assessments.
  • Carry out health and safety checks for learners on program and maintain up-to-date and accurate learner and program documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop teaching and learning materials that support learners' needs.
  • Contribute to quality improvement systems and procedures, contributing to self-assessment and quality improvement plans.
  • Complete learner qualifications with timely achievement and prepare learners for end-point assessment.
  • Provide comprehensive information, advice, and guidance to learners, ensuring they have clear direction regarding their apprenticeship, job outcomes, and careers within their chosen field.
  • Have excellent organizational and planning skills to ensure all deadlines are met and internal MIS are maintained and up-to-date.
  • Carry out progression reviews and liaise with employers to support both learner and employer with learners' behaviors and employability skills.
  • Support learners' health and wellbeing and ensure a safe environment for learners.
  • Manage employability outcomes for learners and provide appropriate advice and guidance.
  • Support technical tutors in ensuring progression with learners' knowledge, skills, and behaviors.
  • Manage off-the-job training to ensure learners receive all planned training.

About You

  • Good understanding of the automotive industry.
  • Occupational expert within Administration.
  • Ideally Functional Skills or equivalent to level 2.
  • Previous training experience not essential, as full training will be given.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of occupational competence.
  • Proven experience of improving and maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
