**Job Title:** Teaching Assistant - Challenging Behaviours

**Job Type:** Temporary

**Location:** Bristol

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a caring and patient individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant, providing support to students with challenging behaviours. This role offers the opportunity to work on a 1:1 basis or in small group settings, developing relationships with students who have had difficult childhoods and display challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with challenging behaviours, promoting positive relationships and behaviour.
  • Work closely with school staff and existing behaviour plans to track and improve student behaviour.
  • Develop and implement creative strategies to reinforce positive behaviour and improve overall attainment.
  • Build supportive working relationships with students, acting as a mentor and role model.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with challenging behaviours.
  • Patience, kindness, and fairness in developing relationships with students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and behaviour plans.
  • Commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
