Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team at Securitas Security Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preventing unauthorized access to the site
  • Monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems
  • Conducting regular security patrols, both internal and external
  • Managing keys and performing locking and unlocking duties
  • Maintaining accurate logbooks and records
  • Reporting any faults, health and safety hazards, or unsafe working practices to management
Essential Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid SIA license
  • 1-3 years of security experience
  • Prior experience within the retail industry
  • The right to work in the UK and a five-year checkable history
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Computer literacy and the ability to manage others
  • Self-management, decision-making, and communication skills
