Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Radiographer to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a Radiographer, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work as a general rotational Radiographer throughout imaging core services at The Royal London Hospital, with some rotation to Mile End Hospital.
  • Contribute to delivering a safe, effective, and efficient imaging service that adheres to the Trust's WeCare values.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours imaging roster, which provides 7 days of working.
  • Be responsible for a variable caseload of imaging, including plain film imaging, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, mobile fluoroscopy, dental imaging, and DEXA.
  • Work closely with Radiographers and clinical staff of all grades in the safe, prompt, and effective imaging of patients.

Person Specification
  • DCR (R) in Radiography or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography.
  • HPC registration.
  • Full range of radiographic competencies in plain film and fluoroscopy.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation, national standards, and professional guidelines.
  • Knowledge of Ionising Radiation Regulations IRR 2018 and IR(ME)R 2017.
