Job Overview

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacy Technician to join their team. As a Clinical Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of the pharmacy team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Complete the Certificate of Higher Education in Pharmacy Technician Practice apprenticeship over the course of 24 months.
  • Participate in rotations within all areas of the pharmacy department, including dispensary, pharmacy stores, medicines information, medicines safety, wards, and accuracy checking.
  • Work on mental health wards and/or community health wards to complete ward-based learning for the apprenticeship.
  • Participate in the late duty rota, working 10-6pm shifts as required.
  • Engage in departmental training sessions to develop your training/learning objectives and leadership skills.
  • Participate in the appraisal process and engage in regular 1:1 meetings with your line manager and college tutors/assessors.
