Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team at BAE Systems (New). As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for delivering commercial aspects of specific projects and providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of operational and functional performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Senior Commercial Manager to oversee and deliver £80m of business in our Under Water Weapons (UWW) sector.
- Operate at both a strategic and tactical level through the direct ownership of delivering commercial aspects of specific projects.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure high levels of operational and functional performance.
- Lead negotiations, develop pricing and business winning strategies, and obtain internal approvals.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Established Commercial background with strong commercial/contractual skills.
- In-depth professional knowledge of Commercial principles, techniques, and practices.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills and proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- Confident presenting and communication skills.
