Williams Racing is seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Digital Performance Technologies (DPT) department. As a key member of our Aero Performance team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a suite of data analysis tools to support our on-track performance and aerodynamic correlation across simulation environments.

You will work closely with our Performance Engineers, Driving Simulator Engineers, Aerodynamicists, CFD and Wind Tunnel Engineers to deliver complete software solutions that contribute directly to the quest for performance in all areas relating to aerodynamic performance and correlation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing software solutions to analyze data across track, wind tunnel, and CFD environments
  • Collaborating with other software groups in the company to enhance and develop the shared data platform and services
  • Contributing to the analysis of data to inform aerodynamic performance decisions
  • Developing graphical tools using MATLAB, Python, Julia, and other technologies

Requirements include a degree in Computer Science or a related field, experience with modern web technologies, database technologies, and software process management tools. A proven track record of developing software following agile working practices is also essential.
