About the Role

Crown Lift Trucks Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team in the North Midlands region. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out service and repairs to equipment on customer sites in a safe, professional, and cost-effective manner.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or hydraulics, and will be able to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for monitoring the safety of the repaired and maintained trucks, accurately completing job sheets, timesheets, and purchase requisition and parts paperwork, and taking responsibility for all equipment and tooling.

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, with excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will also need to have a commitment to continuing personal and professional development, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out service and repairs to equipment on customer sites
  • Monitor the safety of the repaired and maintained trucks
  • Accurately complete job sheets, timesheets, and purchase requisition and parts paperwork
  • Take responsibility for all equipment and tooling
  • Work to tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
