MEP Estimator

Company Overview: Pertemps TM is a leading MEP Consultancy based in Hertfordshire, with over 10 years of experience in delivering high-end M&E projects across London, Cambridge, and Hertfordshire.

Job Role: We are currently seeking an experienced MEP Estimator to join our team. As an MEP Estimator, you will be responsible for working with major building services contractors and end-users to deliver construction projects in various sectors, including residential, commercial, healthcare, and life sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the MEP Quantity Surveyor in managing commercial responsibilities.
• Carry out measurements and provide estimates and cost planning.
• Produce and present final cost plans, including conceptual, programming, and detailed estimates.
• Participate in post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
• Manage cost checks, valuations, and ensure timely and accurate cost checking and valuation processes.
• Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present to clients.
• Provide input into value engineering, negotiate, and approve final accounts.
• Maintain liaison with clients and other consultants at all project stages.
• Provide leadership to the cost management team when necessary.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of commercial responsibilities, cost planning, and quantity surveying. You will also need to have excellent communication and leadership skills.
