About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources and Payroll Officer to join our client's team in the Shotton Paper Mill Project.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading MEP contracting company with a global presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage payroll and benefits administration, ensuring compliance with UK employment laws.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and update HR databases.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Prepare and distribute documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Assist in preparing contracts, proposals, and other documents.
  • Support recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Manage office supplies and maintain a clean and organized office environment.
  • Support daily administrative tasks, including office management, visitor pass requests, and daily timesheets.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings and appointments.
  • Manage administrative service agreements, including car rentals, hotel bookings, and travel arrangements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Human Resources Officer, Payroll Officer, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of HR functions, processes, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with UK employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and excellent Excel knowledge.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Familiarity with construction industry terminology and processes is a plus.
